Vernon and a local skate park, the film captures Muhammad’s unique journey navigating two worlds with ease. As my first keyframe animation project, I served as producer, editor, animator, and sound effects designer, bringing complex concepts to life through dynamic visuals and immersive audio. The project was produced in collaboration with Scene8Media, blending authentic moments, powerful stories, and vibrant city visuals to highlight Blue Ridge Labs as a catalyst for positive change.
The Clu Studios | Medical Bias Workshop

Produced and captured this impactful workshop at Geisinger College in Scranton, PA, designed for underprivileged high school seniors interested in medical careers. The session focused on raising awareness about personal and systemic biases in healthcare through interactive lectures, group discussions, and activities.I managed production logistics and led camera work, capturing key moments with speaker Steffon engaging students and the audience, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of setup and team collaboration. In post-production, I created a dynamic sizzle reel and edited interviews to craft an authentic narrative highlighting the workshop’s mission and impact.
I was assisted on-site by Muhammed Floyd, a member of Scene8Media, who supported the production and filming process.
Supporting Survivors Under the Child Victims Act | Going In with Brian Vines

This impactful segment from Going In with Brian Vines tackles the urgent issue of childhood sexual abuse and the challenges survivors face under outdated New York State laws. Survivor Gary Greenberg advocates for the Child Victims Act, which seeks to extend the statute of limitations for civil and criminal cases, giving survivors a stronger chance at justice. Despite growing awareness fueled by the MeToo movement, political resistance continues to block meaningful reform. This documentary segment explores how young people are being empowered to speak out and pursue legal action against perpetrators of sexual violence.I served as editor on this Emmy-nominated production, crafting a sensitive and compelling narrative that amplifies survivors’ voices and highlights the ongoing fight for legal change.
Stealing Home: How Deed Theft Makes Homeowners Homeless

POSITION | NarratorNominated for a 2024 New York Emmy Award in the Informational/Instructional category, this powerful documentary exposes the growing epidemic of deed theft targeting mostly Black and brown NYC property owners, many of whom are older. The film follows Michael Baker, who was wrongfully evicted from a Brooklyn home his family owned since 1963, highlighting the complex confidence scams behind these illegal property seizures.
I contributed as the narrator, lending my voice to guide viewers through this urgent and personal story of injustice and resilience.

Visually Conscious follows Brooklyn native and anonymous photographer @visually_conscious, an urban explorer capturing the city’s beauty from rarely seen vantage points. Through transcribed interviews voiced by a diverse cast, the film explores themes of peace, escape, and empowerment as he navigates train tunnels and bridges across the five boroughs.I served as co producer and assistant camera operator on the project, contributing to its immersive storytelling and visual impact.

The Flatbush Fist series celebrates the deep ties between martial arts, dance, and lyrical artistry in NYC. Flatbush Fists is a 5-part documentary exploring how martial arts shaped the city’s culture from the 1960s onward, influencing film, hip-hop, breakdancing, and women’s empowerment.
I produced and edited Episodes 4 (Dance of the Tiger) and 5 (Lyrical Mantis), focusing on martial arts as a tool for self-protection and creative expression. Episode 4 highlights Anthony Colon’s fusion of martial arts and breakdancing to empower Queens youth, while Episode 5 follows rapper Haile Ali applying Tai Chi principles to his music and community.

An imaginative early work from Visuals By DK’s college days, this music video follows artist Superlative Sain on a camping trip that takes a surreal turn. As he raps, a subtle spirit companion appears, representing the shroom trip hinted at in the story but never shown outright. The video balances a laid-back camping vibe with an undercurrent of introspective surrealism, showcasing early creativity and storytelling that foreshadows the cinematic style Visuals By DK is known for today.

A smooth, golden-era-inspired cut that channels the soulful bounce of 90’s hip-hop. Shot in the streets of Queens at night and edited by Visuals By DK, the video blends nostalgic neighborhood visuals with a Tribe Called Quest–inspired groove. Every frame is crafted to match the track’s laid-back yet sharp delivery, giving viewers a true old-school vibe.
Molito - Perform (Official Video) | 2025
Perform is a raw, unfiltered promo track that captures the hunger and focus of an artist on the verge of his album release. Shot by Visuals By DK at 58th & Fair Studios, the video’s gritty, low-resolution cut gives it an old-school, underground feel — putting the spotlight on the artist’s pure performance and lyrical fire. The stripped-back visuals keep the energy front and center, delivering a no-frills look at an MC ready to take his moment.

Soul Summit grew out of New York’s legendary underground club culture and street parties. Nineteen years ago, Tabu, Jeff Mendoza, and Sadiq Bellamy bonded over their love for Soul, House, and Disco music and launched an all-day dance session in Fort Greene Park. In August, producer Shirine Saad joined the revelers to uncover how Soul Summit became a cult celebration of the neighborhood’s vibrant diversity and the legacy of DJing. Fans come from around the world to take part in this Sunday ritual of dancing, drumming, dressing up, and spirituality. The party has traveled the world, bringing together followers from every generation and background — but it remains rooted in Fort Greene’s creative community and African-American culture.
This video was edited by me, Khyriel Palmer. I served as the host, co-producer, and editor of the Brooklyn USA podcast until November 2023, the original audio platform exploring Brooklyn’s culture and stories.

I also edited the first episode to ensure sharp and engaging storytelling. My work helped lay the foundation for the series success.
